If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Crestwood. They will challenge New Hampton on the road at 7:30 PM on Friday. Crestwood don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Crestwood had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 40-27 victory over Clear Lake.
Meanwhile, New Hampton made easy work of Iowa Falls-Alden last Friday and carried off a 28-7 win. The success made it back-to-back wins for New Hampton.
Crestwood didn't have too many spare points in their match with New Hampton the last time the two teams met, but they still walked away with a 13-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Crestwood since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
