The Roosevelt Mustangs's four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 61-35 margin over North Dallas. The victory was just what Roosevelt needed coming off of a 64-32 loss in their prior matchup.
Roosevelt can attribute much of their success to Devaje Jackson, who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Gray, who scored four points along with ten rebounds.
Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for North Dallas, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.
Roosevelt will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pinkston at 7:30 p.m. As for North Dallas, they will head out on the road to take on Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
