Shasta and Foothill are an even 5-5 against one another  since November of 2017, but  not for long. The Shasta Wolves are on the road again  on Friday to play the Foothill Cougars at 7:00  p.m. The two teams are strolling into their  matchups after big wins in their previous games.

 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Shasta was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 239  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2023.
 Meanwhile, Foothill waltzed into their contest  on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Cardinals, posting  a  47-0 win at home. The Cougars' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 Shasta's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Foothill, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
 Shasta won a  game that couldn't have been any closer  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2023, slipping by Foothill 35-34. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Foothill's  Dawson Mortimer, who rushed for 169 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown. Now that he won't be playing  on Friday, will it be easier for Shasta to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
