Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Benjamin Franklin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyler Pluid, who scored 14 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pluid has scored all season. Kyle Mott was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds.
Globe's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jonas Dillon, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds, and Josiah Cutter who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Globe struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Benjamin Franklin racked up 13 assists.
Benjamin Franklin has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season. As for Globe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-17.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Benjamin Franklin will take on Gilbert Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gilbert Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 581 points over their last eight games. As for Globe, they will head out on the road to square off against Coolidge at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Coolidge will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak alive.
