There's no place like home for Perry, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Saturday. They blew past the Edgewood Warriors 11-1 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won five matchups by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
 Sophie Sivon made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-2.
 In other batting news,  Elise Strahan was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. That  home run was  her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Rosalyn Tharp, who  went 1-for-3 with one  home run.
 Perry  lost a few balls and  finished the game with three  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've posted since back in April of 2024.
Perry's win was  their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 7-4. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Edgewood, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Coincidentally, Perry and Edgewood will both be playing Geneva the next time they take the field. The Warriors will  host the Eagles at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday, while the Pirates will head out to face them  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
