Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Sheets Memorial Christian struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as South Guilford HomeSchool pulled down 27 offensive rebounds.
South Guilford HomeSchool got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kailey Bullins out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kourtney Bullins, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Sheets Memorial Christian bumped their record down to 0-13 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for South Guilford HomeSchool, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 21-5.
Sheets Memorial Christian will head out on the road to take on Faith Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Faith Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Sheets Memorial Christian in North Carolina (Faith Christian is ranked 148th, while Sheets Memorial Christian is ranked 583rd). As for South Guilford HomeSchool, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Charlotte T at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
