Forest Lake Christian has not had much luck with Futures recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Forest Lake Christian struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Futures pulled down 18 offensive rebounds.
Futures' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Daniel Kozlov led the charge by scoring 21 points along with five steals. The matchup was Kozlov's 14th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keylen Garth, who scored 19 points along with four steals.
Forest Lake Christian's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-6. As for Futures, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.
