It was a good run, but Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 19-5 to the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Charging Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Central now has a losing record of 7-8. As for North Little Rock, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Central will square off against rival Jonesboro at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, North Little Rock is set to take on their familiar foe Conway at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Charging Wildcats 3.7, the Wampus Cats 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
