The McClatchy Lions''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Bella Vista 43-14. McClatchy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-0.
Zayvion Barnes threw for 130 yards on six of 13 attempts. Zion Breedlove was his top target, picking up 50 receiving yards.

McClatchy's loss was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-9. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 4.7 points per game. As for Bella Vista, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
McClatchy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bella Vista will head out on the road to face off against Merced at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Merced is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
