Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Sam Bastardo stepped things up a notch to give Morristown-Beard the 'W'. Bastardo turned in his biggest game of the season, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Bastardo and Morristown-Beard will head out on the road to face off against Roxbury at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
