When it comes to explaining why Pioneer Valley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Inderveer Toor. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was Toor's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Elias Giddings was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 5 rebounds.
Pioneer Valley now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Lompoc, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Pioneer Valley will head out on the road to face off against Morro Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lompoc, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cabrillo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
