Softball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Foothill

Foothill extended their postseason success on Friday against Legacy. They walked away with an 11-8 victory over the Longhorns. The win was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won four contests in a row.

Camren VanThomme was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Julie Stanton was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Foothill kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive games.

Foothill's record is now 14-11-1. As for Legacy, their loss dropped their record down to 22-8.

Foothill has already played their next match, a 12-2 defeat against Basic on the 16th. Legacy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
