Wood Memorial fell to North Knox 54-48. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Wood Memorial in their matchups with North Knox: they've now lost four in a row.
North Knox's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alex Mckinley led the charge by scoring 19 points. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Mccory, who scored 14 points.
Wood Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for North Knox, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with that victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.
Wood Memorial will take on North Posey in a holiday battle at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at. As for North Knox, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Jeffersonville at 2:00 p.m. on December 16th. Jeffersonville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 90th, while North Knox is ranked 25th).
