Given Hamilton's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 81st, while La Salle is ranked 286th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Mason now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Hamilton, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season.
