The Franklin Yellowjackets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by Edison 85-38. Leading Edison to victory were Kiaza Calhoun and Carmello Martin. Calhoun dropped a triple-double on 11 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists, while Martin scored 28 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Martin has scored all season. David White ll was another key contributor, scoring six points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Franklin has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 15 of their last 16 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 1-26 record this season. As for Edison, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.
