Baseball Recap: Chatham Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Chatham barely beat Taconic Hills the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers blew past the Titans 10-4 on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won seven in a row.

Chatham got a massive performance out of Thomas Pierro, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Brayden Steltz was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run.

Chatham pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Taconic Hills, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3.
