Sam Shaughessy Turns in Season-Best Effort
Sam Shaughessy produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Blaine to the win on Thursday. Shaughessy rushed for 212 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 125 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.
Blaine's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Shaughessy and Blaine will take on Shakopee at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
