The Warsaw Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Carroll Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Warsaw's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
On Monday, Warsaw needed a bit of extra time to put away NorthWood. They blew past the Panthers 12-6. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly six runs.
Reed Nelson looked comfortable as he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

04/26/25 @ Manchester | 1 |

At the plate, Oliver Nisen was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Grady Nelson, who went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Carroll came up short against Carmel on Saturday, falling 8-1. The game marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
Carroll saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxon Craker, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.
Warsaw's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Carroll, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Warsaw has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .497. However, it's not like Carroll struggles in that department as they've averaged .476. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Warsaw skirted past Carroll 7-6 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
