The Tyler Knights struggled with assists on Tuesday (the St. Marys Blue Devils had 1800% more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Tyler had to suffer through a rough 84-26 loss at the hands of St. Marys. Tyler was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-12.
They used a three-pronged attack on offense:
Ryland Henderson,
Maleah Weber, and
Macie Highley posted five points each.
St. Marys got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Addie "r" Davis out in front who scored 19 points along with 7 assists and 6 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynnley Bulluck, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Tyler's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Marys, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Tyler will head out on the road to face off against Doddridge County at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Marys, they will square off against Charleston Catholic at 9:30 p.m. on Friday.
