After soaring high against Westville last week, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Dwight/Gardner-South Wilmington fell to Seneca 15-22. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Dwight/Gardner-South Wilmington of the 6-14 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head. The contest brought Seneca to 2-1 and dropped Dwight/Gardner-South Wilmington to a mirror-image 1-2.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Dwight/Gardner-South Wilmington will look to defend their home turf next week against Clifton Central at 7:00 PM. Seneca will stay at home against Paxton-Buckley-Loda at 1:00 PM.
