Altus can bid farewell to their 12-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Southeast Spartans as they made off with an 11-5 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Altus saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trent Carman, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Carman a new career-high. Another was Garrett Gribble, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Altus' win bumped their record up to 11-15. As for Southeast, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-19.
