The Siegel Stars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Marshall County, posting a 80-52 win on the road. Considering Siegel has won six games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Jamahl Gentry and Jabrae Howard certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Gentry scored 11 points, while Howard scored 16 points. The matchup was Howard's third in a row with at least ten points. Jayce Harney was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
The win was the 11th in a row for Siegel, bringing their record for this year to 12-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.6 points per game. As for Marshall County, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
Siegel will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Page at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Marshall County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on LEAD Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
