City of Life Christian Academy was led to victory by Faith Wener and Talia St Hilaire. Wener scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals, while St Hilaire dropped a double-double on 25 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was St Hilaire's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Mia Garcia, who scored ten points along with five steals.
The victory was the fourth in a row for City of Life Christian Academy, bringing their record for this year to 6-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Wade Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. City of Life Christian Academy will take on Forest Lake Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Forest Lake Academy is ranked 396th, while City of Life Christian Academy is ranked 401st). Wade Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hope Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 12th. Hope Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
