After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Temple, Trion was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 28-21 victory over the Model Blue Devils. A big part of Trion's victory came down to the chemistry between Linc Allen and his top target Bryson Roberts. Allen threw for 136 yards and a pair of touchdowns while Roberts picked up 76 receiving yards and two scores. Those two receiving touchdowns gave Roberts a new career-high. Clayton Loughridge was in the mix too, providing Trion with one TD.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trion will take on LaFayette at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Model, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bremen at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th.
