At bat, Sanders got on base in two of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one run, while Page got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs and three RBI. Page has become a key player for Mansfield Senior: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-11 otherwise.
In other batting news, Mansfield Senior got a massive performance out of Joshua Malone, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and four RBI. The dominant performance also gave Malone a new career-high in doubles (two). Guy Trader was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI.
Mansfield Senior kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 9.2.
Mansfield Senior's record now sits at 8-11. As for Mansfield Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.
