The Valor Christian Lions will venture away from home to  face off against the Lanier Christian Academy Lightning  at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday. One thing working in Valor Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  in their last seven contests.
Valor Christian is headed into the  matchup after thoroughly thrashing Johnson Ferry Christian Academy: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Valor Christian blew Johnson Ferry Christian Academy out of the water with  a  72-13 final score. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16  games by 22  points or more this season.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Valor Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Geory LaMark, who  posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Marisa Taylor, who  earned 12  points.
Meanwhile, Lanier Christian Academy took a  blow against Horizon Christian Academy on Friday, falling  60-33. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Lightning in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost four in a row.
 Valor Christian will need focus on slowing down  Ellie Roberts, one of several Lanier Christian Academy players who made an impact when they last played. She  went 5 of 10  on her way to 11 points. Another player making a difference was  Adelyn Gough, who  scored seven  points and seven  boards.
 Valor Christian pushed their record up to 20-2 with the  victory, which was their 24th straight  at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.1 points per game. As for Lanier Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-11.
This contest  is shaping up to be a blowout:  Valor Christian hasn't had any problem running up the score this season,  having  averaged 65.4 points per game. It's a different story for Lanier Christian Academy, though, as  they've been averaging  only 38.6  points. The only thing between Valor Christian and another offensive beatdown is Lanier Christian Academy. Will they be able to keep them contained?
 Valor Christian took their  win against Lanier Christian Academy  in their previous meeting  last Thursday by a conclusive  64-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Valor Christian since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
