It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Wyoming Area Warriors had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against North Pocono by a score of 31-19. The win made it back-to-back wins for Wyoming Area.
Aaron Crossley was his usual excellent self, rushing for 207 yards and two touchdowns. Josh Mruk also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Wyoming Area's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for North Pocono, they have yet to win a contest on the road this season, leaving them with a 4-7 record.
Wyoming Area will challenge Valley View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Valley View is ranked 154th, while Wyoming Area is ranked 175th). North Pocono does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
