On Saturday Shields Valley take on Northern Cheyenne Tribal at 2:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps national rankings project a close game.
Shields Valley simply couldn't be stopped last Saturday, as they easily beat Plenty Coups 46-0. The success made it back-to-back wins for Shields Valley.
Meanwhile, Northern Cheyenne Tribal had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They ended up forfeiting their match against Broadview/Lavina 0-2.
Shields Valley's victory lifted them to 2-1 while Northern Cheyenne Tribal's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if Northern Cheyenne Tribal are able to find more success (and make for a more exciting contest than their last) when the teams meet up.
