There's no place like home for The Roosevelt Roughriders, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against Clarke by a score of 28-16 on Saturday. That's another feather in the cap for Roosevelt, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Roosevelt can attribute much of their success to Kyree Bryant, who rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries.
Roosevelt is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Clarke, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
Roosevelt will head out on the road to face off against Floral Park Memorial at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Clarke does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
