Dryden's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Peck on Monday. The Cardinals blew past the Caseville Eagles 17-1. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cardinals considering their two-run performance the game before.
Rowan Handley made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single hit and allowed only one earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Santi Perales was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
