Denim Sands put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Monday. He wasn't messing around, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. The pitching appearance was his fifth straight with six or more strikeouts.

Sands' strong effort led Glenpool over Mannford and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
