Seabreeze moved up to 105 from 160 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 6A District 9. The Sandcrabs climbed the ranks as a result of a 52-0 win over South Lake.
New Smyrna Beach extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Mainland, 24-21. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Barracudas.
Seabreeze's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Sandcrabs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Connor Blair has thrown for 680 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Charles Nelson has 15 catches for 269 yards. Trevaughn Rodriguez leads the league in rushing with 659 yards.
Seabreeze took down the Eagles 52-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Blair threw for 70 yards and one touchdown and ran for 33 yards in the win.
