After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Folsom, Granite Bay was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 77-68 victory over the Davis Sr. Blue Devils. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 86-42 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Davis Sr. lost, don't look at Jordan McMurray. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 10 en route to 17 points and eight boards. That's the most points McMurray has posted since back in December of 2024. Ahmere Bradley was another key player, putting up ten points and seven rebounds.

Granite Bay's win bumped their record up to 7-18. As for Davis Sr., they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 16 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-19 record this season.

Looking ahead, Granite Bay will be playing at home against Rocklin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Granite Bay: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Rocklin has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
