Forest had to endure a 14-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Newton Tigers 39-18 on Saturday. The Bearcats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Forest's win bumped their record up to 4-15. As for Newton, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Forest will welcome Magee at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newton, they will head out to take on Bay Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
