The North Hills Indians pushed their score all the way to 73 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 85-73 loss to Mars. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Thursday (60), North Hills still had to take the loss.
Ryan Ceh continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Mars, shooting 4-for-7 from downtown and dropping a double-double on 34 points and 17 rebounds. The game was Ceh's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Austin Campbell was another key contributor, shooting 4-for-5 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten assists.
North Hills now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Mars, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.
North Hills will be playing at home against Moon Area at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Moon Area will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Mars, they will head out on the road to face off against West Allegheny at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
