Lake Park suffered a tough 59-38 defeat at the hands of Batavia. Lake Park has struggled against Batavia recently, as their contest on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Brooke Carlson, who scored 21 points along with 6 steals for Batavia. The match was Carlson's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Hallie Crane was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Lake Park's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Batavia, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.
Lake Park will head out on the road to face off against Geneva at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Batavia, they will take on Montini Catholic at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday.
