Lucas Ferraiolo tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over six innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Liam Abbott, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Josh Lopez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Danbury gave up the first runs on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against Farmington by a score of 8-4.
Dustin Pitti was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Pitti was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Jake O'Keefe was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double. Danbury is undefeated when O'Keefe posts two or more runs, but 6-13 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Bobby Mariano, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI.
Danbury kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive games.
Danbury's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Naugatuck, their victory bumped their record up to 17-7.
