Lena-Winslow came into Thursday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Orangeville Broncos by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Broncos, too.

Lena-Winslow easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-14.

Kaitlin LInden paced Lena-Winslow's offense, picking up seven kills. LInden got some help from Emily Goebel and her 18 assists. Goebel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Lena-Winslow's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Orangeville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lena-Winslow will square off against rival Forreston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Orangeville is set to take on their familiar foe Warren at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
