The Reedy Lions will head out on the road to face off against The Colony Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Reedy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Reedy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 78-63 win over Frisco. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Rylen Mitro was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Connor Mcgrath, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though Turner scored an imposing 55 points on Friday, The Colony still came out on top. The Colony put the hurt on Turner with a sharp 76-55 victory. The Colony pushed the score to 61-38 by the end of the third, a deficit Turner cut but never quite recovered from.
Reedy's win bumped their record up to 13-17. As for The Colony, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season.
Reedy ended up a good deal behind The Colony in their previous meeting back in January, losing 72-53. Can Reedy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
