Huntingtown had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They beat the Decatur Seahawks on Friday by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  3-2. The  win was nothing new for the Hurricanes as they're now sitting on nine straight.
 Jordyn Greever spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 20 consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Madalee Hunley was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs and one  double.
Huntingtown's victory bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Decatur,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at six games  and leaves them with a 22-4 record.
As of now, neither Huntingtown nor the Seahawks have any future games scheduled.
