The Fort Bragg Timberwolves will head out on the road to take on the Willits Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Bragg will be strutting in after a win while Willits will be coming in after a loss.
Fort Bragg is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down Cloverdale 37-18 on Friday. The Timberwolves have beaten the Eagles the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Eagles has come to flipping the script.

Beau Hebden had a dynamite game, rushing for 184 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. He is becoming a predictor of Fort Bragg's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 2-4 when he doesn't). Ross Knapp was another key player, picking up 164 receiving yards and one score.
Fort Bragg's run defense was locked in: Cloverdale could only muster 2.9 yards per carry. While one picked up at least five total tackles, Hebden stood above the rest. He rushed for 184 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. Fort Bragg didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 9.2.
Fort Bragg's defense didn't let Kyle Bernardi, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Landon Bradford, Travis Morehouse, and Hayden Jones, who each picked up one sack apiece. Sawyer Schlafer got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Willits' good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 28-20 to St. Helena.
Fort Bragg will have to contain Ricky Britton as he made an impact in Willits' last game. He picked up 85 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 37 yards.
Willits' defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Fort Bragg, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Fort Bragg has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 152.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Willits struggles in that department as they've been averaging 170.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Fort Bragg came up short against Willits in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, falling 29-20. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Wolverines' Porter Garman, who rushed for 102 yards and one score on only ten carries, and also picked up 61 receiving yards.
