Western Boone came out on top against North Montgomery on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run third inning. The Stars put the hurt on the Chargin' Chargers with a sharp 13-3 victory. The win was nothing new for the Stars as they're now sitting on three straight.
Ally Lewis was a major factor no matter where she played. Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Saturday. Kokomo hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like Western Boone struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down. Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
