The Boardman Spartans will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Canfield Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. Boardman has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 9.
Last Tuesday, Boardman came up short against Howland and fell 52-42.
Grayson Eicher put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored ten points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Ziak, who scored six points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, even though Harding scored an imposing 58 points on Tuesday, Canfield still came out on top. Canfield secured a 63-58 W over Harding. The win was just what Canfield needed coming off of a 79-55 defeat in their prior matchup.
Boardman's loss was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-10. As for Canfield, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
