Kiel barely beat Howards Grove the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Raiders' pitchers stepped up to hand the Tigers a 10-0 shutout on Friday. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by eight runs or more this season.

Kiel saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Milbrath, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs. Those three hits gave Milbrath a new career-high.

Kiel's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Howards Grove, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kiel will host Chilton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Howards Grove, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Ozaukee at 5:00 p.m.
