Springwood strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Oaks Mighty Oaks. Fans of the Wildcats have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
Tristan Hill was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Hill was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played dating back to last season.
In other batting news, Colton Jones was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Luke Moon was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Springwood's record now sits at 3-0. As for Oaks, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
