The Foundation Christian Academy Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Cambridge Christian Lancers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Foundation Christian Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 43-26 win over Bishop McLaughlin Catholic. The victory was just what Foundation Christian Academy needed coming off of a 49-11 defeat in their prior matchup.
Foundation Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Steffi Chilton, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 steals. Chilton is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Brothers, who scored 14 points along with six steals.
Meanwhile, Cambridge Christian waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took down Brandon Academy 33-18.
Foundation Christian Academy's record now sits at 3-5. As for Cambridge Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
