The Randolph-Clay Red Devils can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Saturday. They blew past Central 73-51. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Randolph-Clay has posted since December 13, 2023.
Leading Randolph-Clay to victory were Jaleen Gibson and Je'Sus Daniels. Gibson scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and six assists, while Daniels dropped a double-double on 29 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Daniels has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyrion Smith, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Several Hawks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Demarcus White, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Joshua Seldon, who scored 15 points.
Randolph-Clay's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.
Randolph-Clay and Quitman County will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Central on the road again on Tuesday and play against Macon County at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th.
