Despite the loss, Hickory Grove Christian saw an underclassman step up: Lauren Feaster dropped a double-double on 13 points and 16 rebounds. Feaster is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracey Libby, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Northside Christian Academy came up short against Concord Academy on Tuesday and fell 44-37.
Despite the loss, Northside Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: JaKaila Gaskin dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Amani Womack, who scored six points.
Hickory Grove Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Northside Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.
