You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Bureau Valley's strategy against Annawan on Friday. The Bureau Valley Storm strolled past the Annawan Braves/Bravettes with points to spare, taking the game 54-36. This was a revenge game for the Storm: when they faced off against the Braves/Bravettes back in November of 2024, they had to take a 64-42 defeat.

The victory made it two in a row for Bureau Valley and bumps their season record up to 17-9. As for Annawan, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bureau Valley and Hall will face off at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Annawan, they will head out to challenge Abingdon/Avon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
