It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Huntingdon Mustangs had no problem doing just that on Friday. They claimed a resounding 49-20 win over Milan on the road. Winning may never get old, but Huntingdon sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.
Huntingdon was led to victory by Brady Warbritton and Ashton Hutcherson. Warbritton gained 157 total yards and three touchdowns, while Hutcherson rushed for 119 yards and three touchdowns.
Huntingdon's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Milan, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.
Huntingdon will be playing at home against Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Riverside is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Milan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
